Chaney Instrument 17-Inches Galileo Thermometer This instant

The thermometer is great. My dad said he had always wanted one and when he opened it, it was one of his favorite gifts this year. The item came intact with proper packaging and is easily readable. It does seem a bit fragile, so I wouldn't recommend it being placed low to the ground where it can get knocked over. It's pretty accurate too; our house doesn't fall below 64 degrees and it has always been spot on. Great as a gift and a great conversation starter. Every time someone comes over, they always ask about it!Get more detail about Chaney Instrument 17-Inches Galileo Thermometer.

Honeywell TE109NL Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Alarm Clock Buy Now

Not much trouble setting it up. Outside sensor works well from the exterior wall of my bedroom about 15-20 feet away. Readings jive with my Davis weather station. However Amazon and Honeywell's websites both indicate this product has a blue back light. There is not reference to this on the packaging or the owners manual. I emailed customer support for guidance. I'll let you know what they say.Get more detail about Honeywell TE109NL Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Alarm Clock.

Oregon Scientific BAR339DPA Daylight Weather Projection Clock Order Now

This one lights up the corner of the bedroom. I put some plastic over the lense to dim it, but it is still too btight. The font for the numbers is wide and just creates more light. The people that design these ought to lay down and look up at the ceiling in a dark room. This is the thirdone from Oregon and tried one from LaCrosse but thes were all too bright. The best on was from Walgreens for $19.95 and that one projected the indoot/outdoor and a constant time. If anyone finds one like that please email me alpine2006@sbcglobal.netGet more detail about Oregon Scientific BAR339DPA Daylight Weather Projection Clock.

Oregon Scientific THGN123N Ultra Cold Temp/Humidity Sensor Right now

I haven't gotten it to a very low temperature yet as our average low is above freezing. However, it connected with my receiving unit (RMR203HGA) perfectly and has been working for a couple months now. It seems to be reasonably accurate compared to weather on TV. I don't have anything else to compare the accuracy.

Overall, a good unit.Get more detail about Oregon Scientific THGN123N Ultra Cold Temp/Humidity Sensor.
